Terms
Short terms for a small app. Using Tada means agreeing to them.
What Tada is
A free web app for keeping one household's chores in one place. It is a personal project rather than a company, and it is offered as it is today rather than as a promise about tomorrow.
Your account
Signing in needs a Google account, and you are responsible for what happens under yours. One person, one account: rather than sharing yours with a housemate, invite them and let them bring their own.
Fair use
Do not try to reach data belonging to a household you are not in, do not attack or overload the service, and do not use it to harass the people you live with. Anything illegal is out too.
What you put in
Your chores and your history stay yours. Tada stores and shows them in order to run the app for your household, and claims nothing beyond that — no other use, and no ownership.
Availability
There is no uptime promise. The app can change, break or stop, anything the app itself describes as not wired up yet may never be, and data can be lost. Anything you would be sorry to lose should live somewhere else as well.
No warranty
Tada is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, it carries no liability for lost data, a missed bin day, or anything else that follows from using it.
Ending it
You can stop using Tada whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted. An account that breaks the fair-use rules above can be removed without notice.
Changes
These terms can change. When they do, the date at the top changes with them, and carrying on using the app is how the new ones are accepted.
